Item description
BLACK DIAMOND WESTERN #52
August (October on front cover) 1954, Lev Gleason Publications
Cover by Bill Walton. Stories and art by Bill Walton and Vic Carrabotta. Masked like the Lone Ranger or Zorro, Black Diamond fights for justice in the West, aided by his sidekick Bumper and his status as a federal marshal. Black Diamond tries to prove a man was framed for a prospector's murder, in a story that use the wide panels - but no other special features - of the previous issue's "Deep Dimension" pseudo 3-D effect. Buck Roper is targeted by kidnappers who learn about his rich parents, but his rodeo friends intervene. Red Fire is accused when a masked arsonist terrorizes the town. Black Diamond: Six Gun Showdown; Buck Roper: The Rodeo Ransom; Tight Noose; Red Fire: The Flaming Torch Rider of the Plains. 36 pages, Full Color. Cover price $0.10.
The comic is complete and in VERY GOOD condition with some overall wear that includes some light creases and some chipping to the cover edges. (see pictures)
