The item looks to be a holder for either wine bottles or large vinegar and olive oil bottles. The item is made of brass metal with a silver plated finish. The item has a raised decoration in a repousse style (see photos). The item is vintage (see photos). The item in total measures about 13 inches high, it is about 4.5 inches wide from the front edge to the back side and it is about 9.5 inches wide. The item is from an estate liquidation (see photos and decide the age, the origin and the maker). The item has tarnish to the silver plate, losses to the silver plate on the high spots of the repousse and some wear(see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item).
