JAMES DARREN Autographed record When Darren played Moondoggie in 1959’s teen surfer romance, GIDGET, opposite Sandra Dee it brought him teen and singing idol fame. He scored his biggest chart hit in 1961 with “Goodbye Cruel World.” He hand-signed this rare original 45 rpm record of the song with blue Sharpie. The single, flip side “Valerie,” is used but plays fine and comes in a paper sleeve. Accompanying the record is a 7x10 Mint Condition color portrait from his role as a scientist in the 1966-67 sci-fi TV series, THE TIME TUNNEL.
