DESCRIPTION: This is a nice decorative metal footed centerpiece for display or use as a planter. The item is made of metal, which looks to be Copper and Yellow Brass (see photos). The footed bowl has a scalloped oval shape with decorative cast brass animal goat or horned ram heads at each end. The item is not for use with food. The item would make a nice cache pot planter or a centerpiece for displaying your stone fruit collection. The item has tarnish to the metal, and it could be polished by you to a bright and shiny finish (see photos). The item measures in total about 5.75 inches high to the highest point of the horns, it measures about 8.25 inches wide from front to back, and it is about 13 inches wide at the widest point between the ram's head handles. This interesting centerpiece bowl came from an estate liquidation (see photos and decide the age, the origin, and the maker).
