Item description
Proceeds from the sale of Dino Girl fossils are used to fund my grand-daughter's education. She is finishing up high school and will be entering college to get a degree in Paleontology. Everyone has called her "Dino Girl" since she dug up her first dinosaur bone in my backyard at the age of 4. It has been her lifelong dream to become a Paleontolgist since then. I'm her "Papa Dino" and that's the story of Dino Girl:)
The Megalodon is the largest shark that has ever existed. Up to 80 feet long and weighing as much as 120,000 pounds, its size made it the Apex Predator of the oceans. Large deposits of their teeth are found off the cost of North Carolina in the Atlantic Ocean 35 to 75 feet deep on what is known as The Meg Ledge.
