DESCRIPTION: This is a nice set of multi-functional English silver plated barware ice tongs. The tongs have claw-shaped nibs for picking up ice cubes from an ice bucket, and a multi-functional head that includes an ice pick and ice hammer. The ice pick and ice hammer functions are useful for breaking up larger chunks of ice to place in your bar cocktail drinks. The items are marked for the maker PK Vogel Co of England (see photos). The tongs show some tarnish and could use a good polishing. The tongs have some minimal wear from use and retain the vast majority of their original silverplated finish (see photos). The entire statue, in total with the branch base, measures about 7.5 inches high or long, and it is about 3+ inches wide at the hammer/pick end from side to side. The item is old. This item came from an estate liquidation (see photos and decide the age, the origin, and the maker).
