About the item: This strand of rope is an actual piece of the cord used to bind Aslan to the Stone Table in the first of the Chronicles of Narnia films, The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. Adapting the favorite children's classic by CS Lewis, the first movie of the Narnia franchise ranks in the top 50 box office hits of all time and, for 2005, beat out Harry Potter for the #2 spot, trailing behind only Star Wars III, Revenge of the Sith for the top spot of the year. The rope piece contained on the card did appear on-screen in the scene where Aslan is bound by the White Witch and her followers to the Stone table. Only 100 of these cards were made with five additional printers proofs, and each card is individually hand-numbered, containing an authentic strand of rope so key to the story of not only Aslan' death and return but later in the series as well for Reepicheep's character.
