Tragg to solve a murder mystery. This book is signed by the author Erle Stanley Gardner in black ink on the title page. (There is also a blue star penned below the autograph, which I guess was done by someone else.) Paperback published in 1948 by Pocket Books, (First Pocket Books Edition). Note: This novel was first published in 1940 by William Morrow, this is the first edition of the Pocket Books version. This edition is not the best job Pocket Books has ever done, as the printing is offset towards the top of pages. The pages have yellowed and the first couple of pages seem a little delicate. There is a bend at the top corner in several of the first pages, as well. Otherwise, the paperback is in very good plus condition.
