The beer stein has a lithophane bottom panel depicting two women reading a letter in the interior of a home (see photos). The stein is decorated in memory of a German military veteran's service (see pictures to determine the name, the regiment, and other information about this stein). The stein measures about 11.75 inches high to the top of the lid. The item is marked by the maker on the underside of the base (see photos and determine the maker, the age, and the origin). The Stein has some paint finish losses, some bends to the pewter, and some wear (see photos and/or written description for the condition of this item).
