Item description
In 1973 newly formed toymaker, Joy Toy, began making plastic figures using molds purchased from both Ajax and Lido. This continued through 1990, when Joy Toy was itself purchased by the owner of Tootsie Toys. Here we have a Stegosaurus dinosaur figure from that line molded in a teal plastic. The coloring on this piece leads us to believe this was made by Joy Toy in the later 1980s. It measures approximately 2 1/4 inches long and 1 1/2 inch tall. It's completely unmarked and in very good vintage condition.
