Struck under CONSTANTINE II as Caesar, and his father Constantine "the Great" as Emperor.
Obverse: CONSTANTINVS IVN NOB C, laureate, cuirassed bust of Constantine II, seen full frontally with head right.
Reverse: GLOR-IA EXERC-ITVS ([the] Glory of the Army), two soldiers standing
facing, heads turned towards each other, both with inverted spear
in outer hand, inner hand on grounded shield; two Military standards between
them; TRS? (TRier S [Secunda=2nd officina] pellet [control mark]) mint mark in exergue. This earlier type features two Military Standards--later issues only had one.
