Lot 7 Original WWII Photographs Boeing B-29 Superfortress War Planes Bombing This rare lot contains seven original photographs of World War II heavy bombers. While I am not an expert, there appears to be a Boeing B-29 Superfortress and B-17 Flying Fortress. Many of the planes are in flight and actively dropping bombs. There is a photo with the planes flying over what appears to be a snow topped Volcano - so most likely Japan. I believe these to be photos taken by one of the pilots and not official government issue. These pictures came out of a NC estate with a lot of World War I II era postcards, photos and letters. The condition is as shown in the photographs. No writing. You will receive the originals that do not have a watermark.
