Item description
This is for a new old stock genuine Mercedes crank/tach pickup sensor made in Germany.
This was the final and best version of this part with the black rubber plug-in. Earlier versions had a silicone plug-in that ages poorly and eventually crumbles after exposure to the engine compartment. The black rubber does not suffer from this problem.
Be sure of your application. These sensors usually have their part number stamped into the crankshaft/pickup end of sensor in raised text. Clean yours up and try to spot the number using the zoom on your smartphonecamera.
The applications for this part often involve a VIN split. Check the part number and your VIN to be sure of which version you have.
