Wonderful Antique Victorian Cowhide Doctor Satchel Bag Extra Large Elephant Hide? Suitcase measuring 18" x 11" x10", not including handles. It is lined in leather, and the lining is in great shape overall. Outside, unfortunately, is shedding on the edges. It has an alligator hinge-type opening with a push button and double latch closure. NOT ZIpper. You might be able to spray the edges with lacquer to keep them from shedding. The hide itself seems to be ok. It is a bit dry and the case is hard to keep open, but it can work as a prop or decor or be used if treated. A fabulous piece of medical history!
