Diese markante Reproduktion der 5 Pesetas Münze von 1876 mit Konig Alfons XII. bietet Sammlern eine spürbare Verbindung zur spanischen Bourbonen-Restauration. Die Vorderseite tragt das jugendliche Profil von Alfons XII., umgeben von der koniglichen Legende "ALFONSO XII POR LA G. DE DIOS", die die gottliche Legitimitat seiner Herrschaft unterstreicht. Dieser Entwurf stammt aus den frühen Jahren seiner Herrschaft, die das Ende der turbulenten Ersten Republik und die Wiedererrichtung der Monarchie unter einem verfassungsmaßigen Rahmen markierten. Auf der Rückseite wird der gekronte Schild Spaniens majestatisch von den Saulen des Herkules flankiert, die mit dem nationalen Motto "PLUS ULTRA" beschriftet sind und Spaniens kaiserliche Reichweite symbolisieren.
