Esta reproduccion detallada del centavo Flying Eagle de 1858 rinde homenaje a un período breve pero historicamente significativo en las monedas de Estados Unidos. Impresado originalmente por solo tres años, el diseño Flying Eagle marco la transicion de los grandes centavos de principios del siglo XIX al formato de centavo pequeño mas practico. El anverso muestra con orgullo la imagen audaz de un aguila americana en vuelo, simbolizando la fuerza nacional y las fronteras en expansion de los Estados Unidos de mediados del siglo XIX. La inscripcion "ESTADOS UNIDOS DE AMERICA" y la fecha 1858 enmarcan este motivo iconico.
