You are looking at striking molted pale green jade guard. FINE OLD WHITE MOLTED GREEN JADE SWORD SLIDE MIND DYNASTY. Sword slide is fine we believe rare example dates to Ming dynasty period. The slide guard is carved of unique prominently light pale green gray jade. Subtle green/blue and brown natural jade accents. Guard fitting has great design with archaic floral leaf scrolls in high relief. The slide is in fine estate-fresh condition with no damage as seen. Outside 1 3/4 inches long by 1 1/8 inches wide by 1/2 of an inch thick. Antique real jade old hand made and hand carved. High quality craftsmanship all around. Fine velvet semi translucent jade.
