The Mimosa Tree, also called Silk Tree in these parts, is one of the most beautiful and fragrant trees I've ever encountered. The intoxicating scent of Mimosa is like sweet candy on the air.
Pretty Pink Blooms most of the summer.
Attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds.
Can be grown and trained to be a beautiful bonsai, or planted in the ground to become a full size adult tree.
My father in law builds very sturdy guitars with the wood.
