Item description
Three out of four acetate transcription discs dating from 1950 featuring the Boston College Glee Club. They are backed 1/3, 2/4, 5/7 6/8 however the 1/3 disc is missing. I turned these up in a thrift store a few years ago and I looked everywhere but I could only find these three. Twelve inch records playing at 78 rpm.
The label for side six is totally scuffed. The playing surfaces are not very worn. Visually they are a Very Good plus; sound-wise would only be a guess for me, and it is not known how good the original sound quality is. I expect however it should sound reasonably good, as something presumably intended for repeat radio broadcast at the time.
Extremely hard to find musical radio broadcast original recording.
