Item description
First Federal Savings and Loan Association
Metal Barrel Bank
3 1/2 inches tall
No key. The previous owner had this bank since she was young. She believes that these were given out for children to use, and the banks kept the keys. The idea was to save money and then deposit it in the bank. It makes a nice story if true. She did not have the key.
The lettering on the bottom is partially worn off and there are some spots on the side, see the photos.
