Item description
Vintage original sheet music from the classic 1930's "aerial musical picture," FLYING DOWN TO RIO, released in 1933 by Radio Pictures, featuring Dolores Del Rio, Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers and Raoul Roulien. The music is from the song entitled Orchids in the Moonlight, with lyrics by Gus Kahn and Edward Eliscu and music by Vincent Youmans. The front cover features a large shot of Astaire and Del Rio dancing in front of a jet-black background with half of the cover rendered with a nice contrasting yellow background. The music consists of a total of 6 pages and the back cover announces an "album of Jerome Kern songs."
This vintage original sheet music is complete and in fine condition with a light water on page 5 which is repeated on the opposite side on page 6. There are no tears, other types of stains, or flaws.
