Adler Typewriter Electric 21d Extra Wide and similar items

ULTRA RARE! None currently for sale or have recently sold on this site. Vintage ADLER model electric 21d. EXTRA WIDE CARRIAGE at 18"!. Serial number 7928504. Made in West Germany. I believe it was made in the late 1960's to early 1970's. Very very heavy steel construction. Weighs in at just under 51lbs. Such a fantastic retro look to it! Quality built as well. Ribbon for this can still be found online. CONDITION: The body has some patina such as scratches and scuff marks. No dents or dings. The German eagle and "ADLER" text are proudly displayed on the front and look great. The cord has no shorts and is not dried out. The typewriter sits nice and upright with no wobble. The two paper support bars extend as they should and are not bent. The current ribbon is dried out and will need replaced. IMPORTANT: The typewriter was ahead of its time and has several functions...I am unable to test every single function as there are so many. I will be more than happy to test a specific function per your request....before purchase. The internals may need cleaned for it to be 100% functional. Some of the keys strike better than others.
