You are bidding on this nice Color Tone postcard, Angel’s Flight At Third and Hill Streets, Los Angeles, California. The postcard is in good condition, with some light wear at the corners and edges, and some light stains and yellowing on the back and front. There is some yellowing on the back on this card, and some moisture staining on the back and front of this card as well. The postcard is un-used postally, and has a caption on the back that reads; Angel’s Flight is a miniature cable railway that climbs 315 feet on a 33 1/3 per cent grade up the steep slope of Bunker Hill. It was built in 1901 with a 100 foot observation tower, long since removed, and has been an outstanding tourist attraction for many years. Angel’s Flight is still in use by the residents of the neighborhood…It is 3.5” by 5.5” and is a nice Color Tone postcard.
