Vintage original 29 x 43.25 in. French poster from the classic 1970's gore-fest vampire horror film, ANDY WARHOL'S DRACULA (AKA Blood for Dracula), released in 1974 and directed by Paul Morrissey, in which an ailing Count Dracula (Udo Kier) travels to Italy with his servant (Arno Jürging) to find a bride. The cast includes Joe Dallesandro, Vittorio De Seca, Maxime McKendry, Milena Vukotic, and Dominique Darel. The design features great vampire artwork depicting a bare-chested Count Dracula (Udo Kier) baring his fangs with various items impaled in his chest with a menage-a-trois taking place inside of a coffin as Dracula's servant, Mario Belato (Joe Dallesandro) listens to their pleasures a mummy and other assorted creatures roam the graveyard in which the scene is depicted. This vintage original poster was printed for the film's original French release and includes a censor stamp in the right background area near the flying bats. It is unrestored and folded as originally issue in very fine- condition with two small areas of separation on the top horizontal foldline; a few pinholes in each corner; and a small area on the center of the bottom edge where the paper has folded inwards to the back. There are no pinholes, other tears, stains, or other flaws and the color tints are fresh and vibrant without any signs of fading.
