Item description
This is a VINTAGE, NEVER Used, NEW, MINT Condition, Hand Crafted, Hand Painted “Polish Ceramic Pottery Stoneware Floral Peacock Design Chamberstick Candlestick Candle Holder” handmade in Poland by the Zaklady Boleslawiec factory in the early-1970s. Belonging to my neighbor, it was purchased at the Boleslawiec factory store during a trip to Poland in 1973 and has been displayed for the past 45+ years. NEVER Used, it is NEW and in MINT Condition with NO marks, stains, odors, chips, cracks, crazing, paint wear or other damage; it comes from a smoke-free, pet-free home. Measuring approximately 3 inches tall, the built-in base tray has a diameter of approximately 5 inches and the top candle opening has a diameter of approximately 3/4ths of an inch; it is Marked Signed “BW” Logo “Wiza Poland” “3” and “Hand-Made”.
Featuring a Floral Peacock pattern, this COLORFUL Candlestick has a STUNNING hand-painted design that uses BEAUTIFUL Blue Green and Brown colors. This EXCEPTIONAL Chamberstick is a WONDERFUL example of traditional Polish Pottery and is very collectible; it will hold a standard taper candle. With a GORGEOUS, TRADITIONAL Floral Peacock design, the colors are vibrant and the motif is FANCIFUL with nice, simple detailing. You can use this LOVELY, WHIMSICAL and DURABLE piece of home decor for years to come as intended or for display. With an EDGY look that will entice those of us fascinated by Polish Pottery, this Candle Holder is PERFECT for display at work or home and will liven up any space where it is shown. With EXCEPTIONAL craftsmanship and quality, it was fashioned for decorative attractiveness, with nice detail and a combination of vibrant Cobalt Blue, Earthy Brown, and Olive Green glaze colors against a creamy White background. One of the PRETTIEST Candlesticks you will find, it stands evenly with a graceful shape and flowing design that would look PERFECT on any table or shelf. This Ceramic Pottery Chamberstick Candle Holder has an eye-catching, whimsical design that will add EXCITEMENT and FUN any place it is displayed with its bright colors and painting style! Show off your decor style with this beautiful and colorful hand-painted piece of Polish Pottery. This COLORFUL and CHEERFUL handpainted Candle Stick Holder is UNIQUELY painted with a traditional design full of lots of INCREDIBLE detail and will look FABULOUS with any decor! Polish pottery is known for it's practicality and is safe for use in the dishwasher (or freezer for easy removal of wax). In addition, Boleslawiec Polish Pottery is resilient to abrasives making it durable and resistant to scratching or chipping. The art of Polish Pottery originated in the late Middle Ages and fully developed in the 19th century; it has continued ever since. This Candle Holder has the characteristic iconic blue decorative pattern on a white base background, with alternative touches of green and brown elements. Candlesticks with a handle and tray, like this one, were originally made to be carried when going to bed and so they are often called Chambersticks.
