Item description

(internal #S-325-1) This is a 17/8" long (measured on the slant longest side), COLLECTOR hemipristis fossil shark tooth (coloring is natural from fossilizing in this color of sediment); solid specimen, CHOOSE GOLD OR SILVER WIRED (specify in e-mail), as a pendant for a guy or gal (none of our teeth are repaired or restored, these are fully natural). Tooth has 2 nicks on right side serrations. Thought to be extinct, the Hemipristis (snaggle tooth), a rare shark species, has now been found in the Indio Pacific deep waters. It grows up to 8 feet long. The teeth are notched and deeply serrated on both sides with a high bump in the center, teeth found up to 1-7/8" long. Click on my Store tag for similar items.
