Item description

? One Pawpaw seedling, Asimina triloba, 1 year old, 10-12 inches tall, suitable for zones 4-8. Other common names include pawpaw, paw paw, melon tree, false banana, Michigan banana, and custard apple. It reaches a mature height of 19-36 feet with a 15-foot spread. This plant prefers shaded woodland or wet areas, moist, slightly acidic soils, and regular watering. It adapts well to various conditions, thrives in humid climates, and is frost hardy. ? During the summer, the plant will be sent in a container with soil. Leaves may be removed or cut short to conserve water. It will be packed in a mailing tube or box from June through September. During the winter, the plant will be sent Bare-root with roots wrapped in wet media while dormant, from October through May. ? Orders are sent via First Class mail within the United States and internationally. For combined orders of multiple items, let me know—I will do my best to accommodate. International orders are sent soil-less, Bare-root, with roots wrapped in wet wood shavings and securely packed for long-distance travel. Check your local laws for plant entry. A tracking number is provided with every purchase. ? Your order will arrive in good condition. If any issues occur upon receiving the order, contact us the same day with a detailed description and photos so we can assist you.
