This is a vintage 1929 music sheet booklet for the silent film The Desert Song produced by Schwab and Mandel for Warner Brothers Vitaphone Pictures. The motion picture stared John Bowles, Carlotta King and Myrna Loy. The booklet contains music sheets for the title song by Harbach, Hammerstein and Romberg along with 4 other songs. Since this was produced for a silent film, I suspect this was used by the musical accompanist in theaters. The sheet music is in good shape for being almost 100 years old although the name of the original owner and year is inked on the upper corner of the booklet.
