UP FOR SALE: 11 VTG 1950s Egg Head Handmade Party Favor Card Auxiliary Clubs Fancy Ladies HTF The heads are made from real, hollowed out egg shells. The features are all hand painted, and are just gorgeous. Each little egg head is on a paper stand, and is wearing a paper hat, decorated with cotton and silk flowers, bows, bits of cloth and more. Really, all the clothing and hats have worn and faded a bit with age and time, however, they look all the more amazing, as they are such period pieces. The are just so freaking ADORABLE, and are great to display. They each are about 3 to 4" tall. They were made sometime in the 1950's, and I think they were probably party favors for a bridge party group, a Women's Auxiliary club, maybe a Women's Church Group Bible Study - Who really knows?
