The design is reminiscent of a shield with woven detailing which is amazing. In total this rare ring weighs 15.24 grams. it is surprisingly comfortable to wear as it is hollow. The face of the ring itself measures 1 1/16" wide across the top section and rises 11/16" high off the finger when it is being worn (27mm x 18mm). This ring is entirely hand made and is original to the era not a reproduction. Currently this museum quality ring is approximately a size 9 1/2 USA (It may fit a ring size 1/4 inch up or down as it is not perfectly circular).
