Item description

"Florida Cracker Cowboy Coffee" (3) - 12 oz bags of Delicious Coffee' 36 ozs. Our family friend Gary Garrett a descendant of legendary Lawman Pat Garrett grew up tending cattle in the swampy Florida Frontier. After a hard day wrangling cattle the men would settle down for dinner, a cigarette and a good cup of coffee. Gary's uncle taught him how to roast the coffee in an iron kettle over the campfire and then pour the grounds into a pot of boiling water, thus creating hot steaming cowboy coffee. Gary passed away in 1971 but left us his recipe for his Florida Cowboy Coffee. If you like a bold cup of coffee...then this is the coffee for you. Gary Garrett (1897-1971) Campfire Coffee Use a coarse grind. Pour grounds into a pot of boiling water. Stir and take off heat. Let coffee steep a few minutes Sprinkle a few drops of cold water on grounds and they will sink to bottom. Pour into a cup and enjoy. (taste better in a coffee brewer) Coffee shipped whole bean unless ground requested Plantation Blend * Colombian Supremo * Cafe' Supremo Espresso * Caffe Siciliano * Cafe' Cubano * Cafe' Puertorriqueno * Costa Rica SHB * Guatemala Antigua * and 50 Delicious Flavored Coffees.
