Be sure to add me to your favorites list 1990's Vintage 6" Inch Long NASA Space Explorers Apollo 11 Command and Service Modules, In New Just Out of Package Condition. This is a new, never played with, just out of package condition, very nice version of an Apollo 11 Spacecraft, which is identical in appearance to the other Apollo spacecraft of this type. This is the Command Module (the capsule) and the Service Module (the cylindrical portion). It's made of hard plastic, and is 6 inches Long. These are still mounted on a piece of plastic, part of the original packaging that is was never removed from. There are wires on it that keep the spacecraft attached to the plastic piece, which can be removed of course. The command module pops off of the service module (which is hollow inside), and 2 hatches open as well, one on the command module, and a larger one on the service module (I know this because I've had an open / used one of these before). The Apollo program was to send the Americans to the Moon, and Apollo 11 was the first one to actually land and return Astronauts from the Lunar surface! This was a NASA collectible, part of the Space Explorers collectible series. This was made in the mid 1990's, and this is RARE and hard to find now!
