I am unsure of the exact age of the frame, however, based on the writing on the back of the frame, it most likely dates to the 1860s. It is in very good condition with only a few minor little surface scratches to the finish. It has a lovely print within the frame of a young woman looking at herself in the mirror. The frame is 14.5" tall and 12.75"wide, and about 2" thick. The little pins in the back of the frame that hold the picture in place or all loose and will most likely need to be taped in or replaced. The frame also has original holes where the mounting hardware was originally mounted, but now there is a different hanger mounted just above those holes. This is a beautiful frame with a lovely antique print in it. It would make a fabulous addition to any antique collection. It is in remarkable condition.
