We believe the base silver metal is sterling, the gold ribbon to be 10K (based on color) gold and the metal underneath the ribbon, copper. In ascertaining a price, we guessed on the underlying values of the metals with much of the value going to the ribbon of gold. We don?t know the value the artist brings to it but with the information on the back, it seemed to be quite important to her. In addition, the bottom part comes off and can be a brooch or pin.
