Vcsierbrogade 35, DENMARK This pocket sized book was used by a family member who passed away shortly after her trek across Europe at the age of 22, and has been packed away ever since. We can only wonder about all the places she went and the people she met. Included in back pocket is a fold out full size map and a small strip of paper (see photos) with handwritten notes written on the back side of a portion of what was a catering results slip from a catering school. Printed on Map : YOUTH HOSTELS in Europe and the Mediterranean Area International frontiers have been shown on this map purely as a practical guide for youth travel in 1962, and no historical or juridical accuracy is claimed for them. Many VIntage Real Photographs of the various Hostels and places. Date : 1962 160 pages Measures 5" w x 7-1/4" Published by "International Youth Hostel Federation" 1962 Pages feature information and many vintage photographs of the various locations. CONDITION: Stitched binding is still fairly tight, although loose at the back cover due to the thickness of the map being tucked into a pocket made from the cover flap. (see photos) As far as we can tell there are no missing pages. Pages are clean, not marked, torn, creased or wrinkled. Overall in very good condition, for its age and having been across half of Europe. The folded map shows signs of wear at the folds and corners of folds, but overall the map is in good condition, not marked or torn.
