I am unsure of the age of the vase, but it is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks but it is a little dusty and will need to be washed. It is a good size, large enough to support a nice size bouquet. It is 7.5" tall, 7" deep, 6" in diameter at the widest, 4" in diameter at the base, and 4" in diameter at the top rim, and is made of clear glass. It is a very nice glass vase, and with a wonderful shape would make a wonderful decorative accent piece.
