Super nice professional looking rack mountable CD player and remote as shown.
We gave it preventative maintenance: cleaned laser lens, lubricated spindle motor, checked and cleaned the tray advance belt. Cleaned tray, test ran a few discs, played fine, no skipping or play issues.
Remote worked as well.
Unique model with "index" in display (very few have that extra display option) Some disc had indexes within the tracks and this player will show those.
The only one thing we want to point out, is when we received it after setting idle, at first the drawer seemed sluggish. After opening and closing several times it worked OK most the time.
When it was sluggish to start closing, just had to give it a gentle tap/push for drawer to start to close, and then it pulled it in the rest of the way by itself, so just want to point out you may have to occasionally give it a gentle push to start the closing process if it does not immediately pull in the drawer, especially if you let it set unused a while.
It is designed such that pushing in on drawer will not harm anything (unlike cheaper players, this one looks to have a slip clutch on main drawer gear) I suspect the tension on that slip clutch may not be as tight as when new, and thus the sluggishness. There does not look to be anything else slipping or amiss. There is no belt for the drawer mechanism on this model, it is direct drive via gear and clutch. (Note it opened up the drawer OK every time at push of the button and never needed help opening.)
It also has the neat "play exchange" function where you can open and close the drawer while it is playing and the "in play" disc keeps playing while you load/unload other discs.
Physically nice looking, light to normal signs of use, small scratch on top cover toward front center, see picts, nothing major
Guaranteed to play your good audio discs on arrival!
Test CD not included.
