Choice: #1. Metal Mesh purse : I have had this metal mesh gold purse for at least 50 years. It may have been my mother's from the 1920 or 30s. It has been stored in air-conditioned room within a hat box. I love the feel of the metal mesh exterior. It is in very conditon with the exception of one side as you look at it a an angle it appears some of the gold has some darken spots. You have to look for it to see it. See photograph with arrow which makes it look worst than it is. Otherwise, it is a wonderful vintage piece. There is a zipper closer with a ring at end of short chain. The purse measures 3.5" by 6" wide. There is a tag inside that says "Mesh, Whiting and Davis Co. Bags, Make in the U.S.A. or #2. Victorian Glass Bead Purse with silk interior. This was among my great grandmother's items. I had a old steamer trunk that contained many vintage dresses dating back to 1820. The dresses are in a museum now, but I saved this purse for me.
