This delightful Clear Glass Candy Dish is created in a pressed glass technique. It is designed to resemble cut glass and is very intricate in it's patterning. When the rim is flicked with a finger, there is a nice ring to it. The rim and the foot are scalloped creating a floral look. There is also a very fine criss cross etched pattern in the bowl of the piece adding another dimension to the over all design. When looking straight down on the piece, the rim looks like there are hundreds of sparkles in it. There is a six sided smooth knob on the pedestal just underneath the bowl. This candy dish would sparkle greatly when placed in a curio cabinet with a light overhead. The pattern on the underside of the foot looks like a six sided star. Some of the underside foot patterning can be seen reflected in the pedestal. This is a heavy piece with no chips, cracks, fleabites, or scratches. This Clear Glass Candy Dish weighs in at 11 oz.
