It was designed and made by the George Borgfeldt Corporation New York, NY in the 1950?s. The red and white design is named "Melody". The graphics are striking and have cocktail recipes on sheet music and titles of popular period songs printed on the glass. Song titles on the shaker: My Old Kentucky Home, The Band Plated On, How Dry I Am Daisy, I've Been Workin' On The Railroad, The Old Gray Mare. There are cocktail recipes: Bronx, Martini, Bacardi, Side Car, Daiquiri, Manhattan. The shaker features a chrome dome lid with twists on and off. Approx. Measurements: Height: 8? w/o Lid; 10? with Lid on. Diameter: top- 3.5?; bottom- 2.75? CONDITION: Pre Owned. This is an estate purchase. Very good vintage condition, no chips or cracks. There is NO distortion in the chrome lid finish. The chrome is consistent and not damaged, photos show a shadow but the chrome is OK with some light pitting consistent with age and previous use. Graphics are crisp and clean. Aluminum shaker lid has some light scratching and some light pitting consistent with age and previous use.
