Uses a standard base screw-in light bulb of up to 150W, that is controlled with a rotary style on/off dimmer switch located on the front side of the base. The extra long 8' heavy duty cord is UL rated to ensure safe operation. Overall dimensions of the lamp from top of the finial to bottom of the base = 28", and the base measures 7" diameter. The bare lamp weighs approximately 9 pounds, and includes an 8" nickel plated harp, saddle, and finial. Shade is optional.
