Here is a Gothic Coffin Nails Large Black Cross Necklace, made of three coffin/ concrete nails, the longest being 3-1/2", attached and binded with gold beading wire, forming a large gold "X" in the middle of the cross, wrapped on top and on bottom of cross with gold wire to give a contrasting gold on black effect, and creating the attachment for the chain or cord on top. The ring for the chain on top is wrapped to look like a gold halo over the cross as well as serve as a ring for hanging. The necklace part is not chain, but a suede leather black cord that can be tied in the back making you able to adjust the length from a choker type necklace to one that hangs lower. You can easily replace the corded rope string with a chain of your choice. The nails were purchased, washed and all rough edges grinded off with dremel tool. They were then painted in steps, on each side, coated on each side with several coats of paint, then wrapped in gold wire on top, middle and bottom of cross and corded rope string attached. There are many steps involved and waiting time, in creating this unique cross necklace. It is a large cross pendant 3-1/2' long by 3-3/4" wide. It will make a dramatic statement where ever it is worn. Can be worn anytime, anywhere from casual to dressy.
