For your consideration, an unusual artisan / craftsman made piece of, possibly, vintage equestriana...it's a pice of waney edge timber, my guess is that it's Ash, clear varnish applied front and rear, a hanger on the back, and, on the front, a pair of horseshoes (they look like the real thing...) nailed into place, using 8 horsehoe nails, which have been left 3/4" (18 mm) proud so you can hang just about whatever you like on it...and, of course, having 2 horseshoes, it's got double the luck, should you be of that persuasion...
