Lichty's Esso Servicenter in Mechanicsburg PA used this advertising medium for its service station. It lists the leading 50 breeds according to AKC records. There is a page on caring for your dog, feeding your dog and training your dog. It has lovely photography of the breeds listed which was done by Walter Chandoha, an eminent animal photographer according to the booklet. It has 16 numbered pages. The front cover has an advertisement address square for the dealer and the back cover inside and out for Esso, as well as the inside front cover. There is a smudge on the front cover and a water spot, and it has aged in that it is dingy. Near the dog's hind quarters on the cover there is a mark that was probably made by tape or a sticker. It has been in a smoke free environment since we have owned it. The vintage is probably early 1960's. It measures 6 3/4 inches x 4 3/4 inches.
