Fall Gold Potted Raspberry Plants Fall Gold has large conical golden berries that are somewhat soft, but very sweet. Excellent for fresh eating, jams and jellies. Fall Gold will ripen a crop in July on 2-year-old canes and a second larger crop from late August until frost on new canes. Canes are vigorous and very productive. Fall Gold is hardy to -25 degrees, but not recommended for extreme northern areas where the first frost is in September. This heirloom variety is recommended for home gardeners and is easy to grow.
