Festival of the Sardine – El Entierro De La Sardinia, Spain It is a Fiesta, or Festival, that is held on the Wednesday after Easter, celebrating the end of Lent. What you are looking at is a print created from the original artwork of Gema Sanchez Lopez.Ms. Lopez was 12 years old when she drew the picture you see here. I would not know the current age of Ms. Lopez or if she is an artist now or not. Item was produced by Plastichrome of Boston Not sure when it was made but it is marked on the back with the words “U.S. Committee for UNICEF”. Item is in a good solid 11 inch by 17 inch wood frame, it is covered by glass and does have a cardboard back piece; I took it off for the photograph of the information that is printed on the back. Condition: -- The frame is a solid wood frame, tight. Some of the white paint on the frame has faded, worn off. There are small nicks in the wood, nothing major. The glass has some fingerprint marks. The back with the story on it has age-old surface wear marks, color fade. There is a piece of fishing reel string being used as a hanger from one side to other located in the center of the frames.
