Item description

This traditional Taino artwork is handmade, uniting clay and fire as a sign of respect to the original inhabitants, the Taino Indians (Pre-Colombian inhabitants of Quisqueya \ Hispaniola, now known as Haiti and the Dominican Republic). "For Our Cultural Identity". We have placed ourselves 500 years in the past joining with our humble hands, clay and fire to always honor the great artist of the Caribbean. In each of these replicas the noble and kind spirit of the Taino indian is present. Goddess of the moon. Comes out of a cave which lies in the territory of the cacique leader Mautiabuel (Child of down). Also known as the goddess of sunset, she returns to the cave when the sun comes out.
