The design refers to a board game that was popular in 19th-century France, particularly around 1827. The game is inspired by the newly emerging Parisian public transportation system of the time, specifically the horse-drawn carriages of two competing omnibus companies: "Omnibus" and "Dames Blanches". There are no runs or odours (smoke-free home). This pair would make ideal handle wraps for a Birkin handbag. These are authentic Hermes silk twillys that are in excellent condition.
