This set of Pattern 1885 NCO Shoulder Knots, has survived as an intact set, and shows little, if any, evidence of having been issued or used. Both shoulder knots are full form, have the complete lining on the underside, and original general staff service buttons are in place, the brass mounting hooks are present, and the full length ties are intact. The gilt Russian braid knots display patina due to age.
