In creating this necklace I selected lots of sponge coral including 8 mm beads, 18 x 10 mm barrel beads and a cross plus sterling silver findings including a toggle clasp, 4 mm round beads and Bali beads, The necklace is 18" in length and the cross is 1 1/2 x 1 1/8". These sponge coral beads are crafted from chunks of natural sponge coral that have been harvested in the deep sea, They are cut, ground, polished and color treated to give them their red-orange glow. The natural variations and lines add to the uniqueness of these beads.
